Fiscal Fundamentals: Procurement – The Bear Claw Revisited (Repeat)

One of the most profound changes affecting grant-funded organizations receiving Federal awards today is the application of the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (or Uniform Grants Guidance).  One of the biggest areas of change under the Uniform Grants Guidance, also popularly known as the Super Circular, is procurement.

Participants in this workshop will learn the following:

  • The five general standards for procurement under the Uniform Grants Guidance (the Super Circular).
  • The five available methods of procurement for each purchase.
  • Best practices in procurement under following the Super Circular.

This session is recommended for all attendees.

NOTE:  To accommodate demand, this session will also be presented on Tuesday.  The Thursday session will cover the same material, and is a repeat of the Tuesday presentation.  If you plan to attend “Procurement – The Bear Claw Revisited” on Thursday, please attend a different session on Tuesday rather than the original presentation of “Procurement – The Bear Claw Revisited.”
