Marilyn Zlotnik is Vice President for Strategy at Metis Associates, a New York City- and Atlanta-based research and consulting firm serving human services organization. Ms. Zlotnik has extensive experience providing program planning, grant development, and grant training and technical assistance to government agencies, institutions of higher education, and community-based organizations. Since joining Metis in 1994, she has helped Metis clients secure over $380 million in competitive grants, the vast majority of which were from government sources. To better assist clients in institutional capacity building, Ms. Zlotnik has conducted seminars in program development and proposal writing for non-profit staff. In addition, she has taught a graduate level course, “Introduction to Grantwriting,” in the Technical Writing track of the English Department at Long Island University.
