What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Refunds for cancelled registrations will be given until the Early Bird Registration period ends. Registrations cannot be cancelled and refunds will not be given after the Early Bird Registration Period ends, but a different attendee may be substituted at no charge.


Can I earn CPE credit, and, if so, how much?

Attendees at the Southern Grants Forum can earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Credits are based on a 50 minute hour. Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a CPE sponsor. Please keep in mind, though, that individual state accountancy boards have final authority on the acceptance of courses for CPE credit.


Do I need to download or print any materials for the conference?

You are not required to print or download any conference materials in advance for the Southern Grants Forum. However, the Southern Grants Forum is in the process of “going green” and will use a conference app to provide access to most materials. Therefore, for materials available on the app, you may want to download copies in advance because the number of pre-printed physical copies of those materials at the conference will be limited. Regardless, you should print and bring your admission ticket with you.


Do I need to bring my admission ticket to the Southern Grants Forum?

Please print and bring your admission ticket with you to onsite registration on the first day of the Southern Grants Forum. (Your admission ticket was included with your advance registration confirmation email.) You will exchange the ticket for your conference credentials. Bringing the ticket with you will speed up the onsite registration process.


Are meals provided?

Yes. The 2020 Southern Grants Forum includes a luncheon and an early evening reception on Tuesday, July 21. In addition, a hot breakfast will be provided for attendees prior to sessions each day (July 21-23). Coffee and light snacks will also be available throughout the conference.


Do I need to make my own hotel reservations?

Because not all attendees will require hotel accommodations, hotel reservations are not included in the registration fee and the Southern Grants Forum does not make hotel reservations on behalf of attendees. All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel and other travel arrangements.


What is the dress code for the Southern Grants Forum?

Most attendees dress business casual, but we leave this to the discretion of each attendee. We do recommend that attendees either dress in easily removable layers or bring a light sweater or jacket. Although the hotel makes every attempt to keep room temperatures at comfortable levels, room temperature does tend to be a personal preference and some attendees may find rooms to be cooler or warmer than what they prefer.
