Southern Grants Forum 2019

These are just some of the new and updated workshops that you will find in New Orleans this July. You can pick and choose the sessions that interest you most from across all five conference tracks.

Southern Grants Forum 2019 will offer useful information for all types of grant-funded entities (from nonprofits and governments to hospitals and colleges). Whether a direct grantee or pass-through entity, your organization will benefit from your attendance. Attendees can also earn up to 18 hours of CPE.

The conference takes place in the cultural heart of New Orleans at the Renaissance Arts District Hotel. Discounted room rates are still available. The group rates are also available up to three days before and after the conference dates, so come early and stay late. However, the reservations cut-off is in one week on June 24th.

This year’s Southern Grants Forum will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from July 16 to 18, 2018. All events will take place at the conference hotel, the Renaissance New Orleans Arts District. The Renaissance Arts is located near the meeting point of three of the Crescent City’s most popular neighborhoods, the Arts District, the Warehouse District, and the Garden District. The theme of Southern Grants Forum 2018 is “Get Jazzed about Grants Management,” and celebrates both the Tricentennial of the host city and the Forum’s lineup of lively educational sessions. Two dozen sessions featuring almost a dozen grants experts are planned during the conference’s three days. The half-day opening session on July 16 will help grantees better understand the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Grants Guidance (better known as the “Super Circular”) by taking an in-depth look at “The Uniform Grants Guidance at Five.” Then, over the following two days, the Southern Grants Forum will present sessions exploring federal grants management, fiscal integrity, information technology, governance and organizational management, human resources, and programmatic issues.

The next Southern Grants Forum will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 16 through 18, 2018.  This will be the first time that the annual conference has been held in New Orleans.  The Renaissance Arts District Hotel, which will host the event, is already accepting room reservations at a special rate of $99.00 per night.  Registration for the Southern Grants Forum will open in April 2018.

The Southern Grants Forum 2018 will celebrate both grants management professionals and the City of New Orleans with a conference theme that encourages participants to “Get Jazzed about Grants Management.”  Two dozen sessions and a dozen speakers spread over three days will help conference attendees “get jazzed” about recent developments affecting grant-funded organizations and the future of grants management.  A special, double-length opening session on July 16 will examine “The Uniform Grants Guidance at Five,” will better equip conference attendees to understand the key requirements of the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Grants Guidance (better known as the “Super Circular”), including the changes that have occurred since the rules were first promulgated.  More sessions will be announced during the countdown to the opening of registration.

Early registrants will benefit from a discounted Early Bird Registration rate of just $549.00 per attendee.  The Early Bird rate will be available until May 25, 2018.  After May 25, the Regular Registration rate of $599.00 per attendee will apply.
