Current Wage and Hour Issues

Learn about current wage and hour law issues facing grant-funded entities. This session will discuss the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and recent developments affecting nonprofits and other grant-funded organizations. This session will also explain the prevailing wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act and common prevailing wage issues for grant-funded projects. After attending this session, you will be able to identify the factors for FLSA coverage, describe the most common FLSA compliance issues, and list the compliance requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act for federally assisted projects.

This session is recommended for all attendees. The experience level is overview. There is no prerequisite for attendance, and prior preparation is not required. Attendees can earn up to one (1.0) hour of CPE credit in the field of business law for completing this session.
