This session will explain the key requirements for procurement using an easy-to-understand format. Attorney Brian Tipton will break the procurement standards into just eight simple (and easy to remember) “rules.” You will learn about procurement rules covering contractor oversight, conflicts of interest prohibitions, avoiding waste, maintaining adequate competition, selecting contractors, allowable procurement methods, and documenting your procurement transactions. You will also learn about best practices for purchases by grant-funded entities.
