When will Southern Grants Forum be held in 2024?
Southern Grants Forum will be held July 22-25, 2024. Educational sessions will be held starting at 8:00 a.m. on July 23, and the conference will conclude on July 25 at 11:30 a.m. However, attendees should plan to arrive on Monday, July 22, 2024, for conference check-in from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Where will Southern Grants Forum be held in 2024?
Southern Grants Forum 2024 will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Hilton Fort Worth. Please plan to arrive one day early on July 22, 2024, for onsite conference check-in. The conference program will start at 8:00 a.m. on July 23, and the conference will conclude at 11:30 a.m. on July 25.
Will Southern Grants Forum 2024 have a virtual option?
Southern Grants Forum 2024 will be an in-person conference. There are no plans for a virtual option.
When should I arrive for the conference?
Please plan to arrive on July 22, 2024. The on-site conference check-in will be the afternoon of July 22, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm. The conference sessions will start promptly on the morning of July 23, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Arriving and completing the conference check-in on July 22 will ensure that you do not miss any of the conference.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All cancellations must be in writing, but email is acceptable. Our general policy is that cancellations will be accepted and refunds will be given for cancelled registrations until the cancellation deadline. The cancellation deadline is Monday, June 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm CDT. Regardless of registration category, though, a different attendee may be substituted at no additional charge at any point until the in-person conference. Unless a timely notice of cancellation was received, refunds will not be given for any registrants who fail to attend. In the absence of a timely cancellation, registrants who do not attend are still obligated to pay the appropriate registration fee in full.
Can I earn CPE credit, and, if so, how much?
Attendees of the Southern Grants Forum can earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits in accordance with the below details. Credits will be based on a 50 minute hour. One (1) hour of CPE credit may be earned per hour of attendance for the educational sessions. The field of study varies from session to session; please see individual session descriptions for more information.

Please see individual session descriptions for prerequisites, advance preparation, and program (experience) level. The delivery method for all Southern Grants Forum 2024 sessions is group live. The firm of Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Do I need to print any materials for the conference?
You are not required to print or download any conference materials in advance for the Southern Grants Forum. However, as part of our efforts to reduce the conference’s environmental impact, Southern Grants Forum will use a conference app to provide access to materials for the in-person event. Therefore, for materials available on the app, you may want to download copies in advance because pre-printed physical copies will not be available. Regardless, you should print and bring your admission ticket with you to the in-person event.
Do I need to bring my admission ticket to Southern Grants Forum?
Please print and bring your admission ticket with you to conference check-in on your arrival day and the first day of the Southern Grants Forum. Your admission ticket (or a link to download your ticket) is included with your paid registration confirmation email. You will exchange the ticket for your conference credentials. Bringing your printed ticket will speed up the onsite registration process.
Are any meals provided?
Yes, some meals are provided. The Southern Grants Forum includes a luncheon on the first day and an early evening reception. In addition, a breakfast will be provided for attendees each morning before the first session (July 23-25, 2024). Beverage breaks will also be available during the conference. However, all other meals are “on your own” and are each attendee’s individual responsibility.
Do I need to make my own hotel reservations?
Yes, you will need to make your own hotel reservations. Because not all attendees will require hotel accommodations, hotel reservations are not included in the registration fee, and the Southern Grants Forum does not make hotel reservations on behalf of attendees. All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel and other travel arrangements.
What is the dress code for the Southern Grants Forum?
Most attendees dress business casual, but we leave this to the discretion of each attendee. We do recommend that attendees either dress in easily removable layers or bring a light sweater or jacket. Although the hotel makes every attempt to keep room temperatures at comfortable levels, room temperature does tend to be a personal preference, and some attendees may find rooms to be cooler or warmer than what they prefer.
