Solid recordkeeping is necessary to demonstrate compliance with Federal financial assistance requirements, but this vital area of grants management is often overlooked. This session will explain the documentation requirements for grant-funded programs under the Uniform Grants Guidance. However, when you attend, you will learn not just about recordkeeping rules but also current best practices and considerations in recordkeeping. This session will also discuss storage and records access requirements in the Uniform Guidance.

The session is recommended for all attendees. After attending this session, you will be able to identify the recordkeeping requirements under the Uniform Grants Guidance and list current recordkeeping best practices. There is no prerequisite for attendance, and no advance preparation is required.  The program level is overview. Attendees can earn up to 2.0 hours of CPE credit in the field of specialized knowledge (nonprofits and government).
