Jimmy leads CRI’s Risk and Controls practice, helping clients find solutions to the problems their businesses face. His broad base of experience across multiple disciplines allows Jimmy to assist organizations across various industries with risk identification, assessment, and resolution. He has extensive experience in enterprise risk management and internal audit, including consulting on governance, risk assessment, internal controls, process improvement, fraud investigation, regulatory compliance, and monitoring. Jimmy also performs examinations of controls at service organizations (SOC 1, 2, and 3) and provides business valuations to small businesses.

Jimmy has worked for a Big 4 accounting firm, a $3 billion multinational manufacturing and distribution company, and a large regional firm. Throughout his 22-year professional career, Jimmy has helped small, closely held companies value their businesses, establish policies and procedures, and helped large, publicly traded companies meet SOX 404 compliance obligations. His background and expertise include that of a financial auditor, an internal auditor, a valuator, and a business consultant.

As the firm’s Consulting Service Line Leader, Jimmy’s duties also include quality control, engagement consultation, standardization of tools and processes, and development of training programs for professional staff. Before his current role, Jimmy served as the firm’s Assurance Service Line Leader in a similar capacity for that practice.
